-20- G 06 36X 1 7 " Ultimate Band saw 5. Press the OFF button to stop the machine. 6. WITHOUT resetting the OFF button, press the ON button. The machine should not start. —If the machine does not start, the OFF but - ton safety feature is working correctly.

-22- G0636X 1 7 " Ultimate B andsaw Note: The 1 / 16 " spacing is ideal, although with larger blades it may not be possible. In such cases, adjust the guide bearings as far for - ward to the blade gullets as possible, and still maintain the proper support bearing spacing adjustment.

The ma xi - mum boa rd width that can be resawn is limited by the ma ximum cut ting height of t he bandsaw . One of the most impor tant considerations when resawing is blade select ion.

Befor e making stacked cuts, ensure that both the table and the blade ar e properly adjust ed to 90° (se e Page 1 7 ).

Narrow blades can cut tight curves (a small radius) but are not very good at cutting straight lines because they naturally wander (blade lead).
