Maintenance Section 4 4-2 Part Number 80-1633-3 Guardian ™ Slime is a leading cause of ice machine brea kdowns a nd biological growth is a hea lth concern. The Guardian ™ system releases chlorine dioxide on a controlled basis to inhi bit the g rowth of bacteria a nd fungi that form slime and cause malodo rs in the food zone of ice mac hines.

If the ice machine requires more frequent cleaning and saniti zing, consu lt a qualified service company to test the water quality and recommend appropria te water treatment.
