30 Selecting Functions and Options Y our phone offers a set of functions that allow you to customize your phone. These functions are arranged in menus and sub-menus, accessed via the two soft keys marked and . Each menu and sub-menu allows you to view and alter the settings of a particular function.

34 Phonebook Y ou can store phone numbers and their corresponding names in the memory of y our SIM card. In addition, you can store up to 500 numbers in the phone memory . The SIM card and phone memories, although physically separate, are used as if they were a single entit y , called the phonebook.

49 In-Call Options Y our phone provides a number of control functions that you can use during a call. Putting a Call on Hold Y ou can place the current call on hold whenever y ou want. Y ou can make another call while you have a call in progress if this service is supported by the network.
In-Call Options 50 Switching the Microphone Off (Mute) Y ou can temporarily switch y our phone’s microphone off , so that the other party cannot hear you. Example : Y ou wish to say something to another person in the room but do not want the other party to hear you.
