10 Setting the T emperature Y ou must allow the fridge to settle for at least twenty four hours prior to switching the power on. The thermostat automatically regulates the inside temperature of the appliance. T o adjust the temperature, turn the thermostat control knob clockwise (from o ) to the required level.
11 Use Fridge • Never put liquids in the refrigerator uncovered. • Never put hot foods in the refrigerator . Warm food should be allowed to cool to room temperature before being put into the refrigerator .
12 Ice Bo x The ice box door should be kept closed to prevent the contents of the ice-box defrosting, heavy build up of frost in the ice-box and excessive unnecessary use of energy.
13 S toring Frozen Food Products • When shopping, leave frozen food purchases until last and transport products in a thermally insulated cool bag. • Once at home, place the frozen foods immediately in the ice box. Ensure that the packaging is not damaged.
14 Care and Cleaning Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before any cleaning or maintenance. The fridge sections should be cleaned using a solution of bicarbonate of soda and lukewarm water . Do not use abrasive products or detergents.
15 g. 1 Defrosting the Fridge The fridge is self-defrosting. Any water created will run out of the fridge through the channel at the back of the fridge. It is important to keep the channel clear at all times. The defrosted water is collected in the evaporating tray at the back of the appliance.
16 Changing the Light Bulb Disconnect the appliance from the power . • Carefully remove the light cover by pushing in the lever at the back of the cover , and then pulling the cover down. • Unscrew the light bulb to remove it and replace with a new bulb (max 15W).
17 • The door is closing properly . • The cooling system at the rear of the appliance is clean and free of dust, and not touching the rear wall. • There is enough ventilation at the side and rear walls. • The temperature of the room is adequate (16°C or above).

24 R eversing the Door It is possible to reverse the door on this appliance, if required. T o do so, follow the steps below: 1. Open the door . 2. L oosen the hinge fixing screws (1) and remove the door . 3. R emove the door fixing screws (2). 4. R emove the cover caps (3).
25 5. Rotate the ice bo x door 180° and secure in position by fitting the bottom hinge on the left side using the screw removed in step 3. 6. Refit the door catch on the right side using the screw removed in step 2. Electrical Information W arning! This appliance must be earthed.
