20 6/ FILLING WITH REGENERA TING SAL T • Filling with regenerating salt (Fig 06) Filling with salt is essential for pro viding a good wash without marks. It regenerates the resins that soften the water , by removing its lime content (unless the mains wat er supply is soft enough).
