6 Final Adjustments Auger C ontrol Adjustm ent Check the ad justment of th e auger con trol as foll ows: • Push for ward on the aug er cont rol until the small rubber bumpe r contac ts the upper ha ndle. The re should be s lack in the cable. See Figure 5 .
7 • Rech eck the adju stmen t and repeat adj ustment as necessar y. • Retighten the jam nut to secure the cab le when corre ct adjustm ent is reached . NOTE: If y ou are unc ertain that y ou have r eached the correct adj ustment, refer to Tr action Co ntrol Adjustm ent in Adj ustment Se ction .
8 Electric C hute-Rotation Switc h The ele ctr ic chut e-rotati on switch is located on t he left side of t he snow thr ower das h panel. See Fig ure 7. To chan ge the dir ection in w hich d ischarge d snow is thr own, proc eed as fo llo ws: • Push th e toggle s witch to the left to rotate the chute count erclockwi se.
9 WARNING: The electric st arter is equipped with a grounded three-wire power cord and p lug and is des igned to operate on 120 volt AC household current . It must be us ed with a pro perly grounded three- prong receptacle at all times to avoid the possibility of elect ric shock.

11 • Reconne ct the upper shi ft rod to the lower shift rod by re inserting the ha irpin clip remo ved earlie r and slidin g the sh ift ro d connec tor back down into place .
12 There is a gr ease fitting on th e top of the ax le shaft which driv es the rear track driv e wheels on bo th sides of the unit. Grease these fittings eve ry 25 hours or once a season.
