12 4. Electric Blade Clutch Switc h: (See Figure 1.) Located on the right side of the mo wer beside the ignition s witch. This is an “on/off ” push pull s witch that controls the electric bl ade clutch which supplies po wer to the cut - ting bl ades through the PT O .

22 Note: If you wish to move the mow er by pushing, y ou must re lease the dynamic brak - ing. Locate the levers at the rear of the mower . Pull both le vers out and loc k in positio n. After pushing the m ower to the desired location, return both levers to the oper atin g position (See page 18 Figure 8 ).

25 OIL CHART Apply a f e w drops of SAE 15W40 oil or use a spra y lubricant. Apply th e oil to both sides of piv ot points. Wipe off an y e xcess. Start engine and operate mow er br iefly to insure that oil spr eads e venly .
26 P erf ormance Adjustments A. High Speed T r acking Adjustment If mower trac ks to one side with both lap bars in fully f orward po sition: 1. Check air p ressure in all four tires: a. Pressure should b e within specified r anges and balanced side -to-side .
27 C. Dec k Corner Ball Wheel Roller S ettings 1. Matching the set heights of the ball rollers on the four cor ners of the mower deck to the desired cut height will pre v ent edge scalp ing and minimize any side-to-side v ariance in cut height.
28 F . Deck le veling Pr ocedure 1. P ark the mower on a flat pav ed surf ace, engage the park ing brake , shut off the engine, remove the ke y from the ignition switch, disconnect the spark plu g wires and using the transpor t lev er , low er the mowing dec k into the 4" height of cut position.

30 SLOPE GAUGE Do not mow on inclines with a slop e in excess of 15 degrees (a ri se of approximately 2-1/2 fee t every 10 feet). A rid ing mower could overturn and ca use serious injury. If operating a walk-beh ind mower on such a slope, it is extremely difficult to mainta in your footing and you could slip, resulting in serious injur y.
