29 SLO PE G AUG E Do not mow o n inclines with a slope in exc ess of 15 d egrees (a rise of approximately 2-1/ 2 feet ev ery 10 feet ). A riding mower could ov erturn and cause s erious injury. If opera ting a wal k-behind mowe r on such a slope, it is extreme ly difficult to mai nta in your footing and you could slip, resulting in serious in jury.
