4. Install Vent wall thim ble per Vent m anufacturer‟s instruc tions. 5. Attach enough piping to penetrate and exten d at leas t 6 inches beyond the exterior wall. There should always be at le ast one foot of vertical rise f or each foot of horizontal ru n ( see Appendix A ).
In the US: a) less than 3 feet ab ove any forced air inle t located within 1 0 feet; b) less than 4 feet below or horizontall y from, or one foot a bove, an y door, window or gra v ity air inlet into any building; c) less than two feet from an adjac ent building and not less than 7 f eet above grade when located adjacent to a p ublic walk way.

7. If desired, once the horizontal pipe is in place, the space between t he pipe and masonry m ay be f illed with high-temperature gro ut. Install the trim collar. An adjustable pipe l ength an d adapter m ay be needed t o f inish the connection to the stove.
2. OPERATION 2.1. PROPER FUEL THIS ST OVE IS APPROVED FOR BURNING four d ifferent typ es of pellets: standard wo od pellets, 100% bark pellets, saw dust/hay mix pellets, and sw itch grass pellets ! Each type of p ellet has its properti es and will burn diff erently.
2.5. LIGHTING PROCED URE a. Fill hopper and c lean burn pot. b. Press “MODE” button to se lect the de sired setting “MANUAL” or “THERMOST AT” c. Adjust feed rate to desir ed setting b y pressing “ - ” or “ + ” button. If fire doesn‟t s tart in 35 m inutes, a warning code will appear .
c. CONVECT ION BLOWER SPEED CO NTROL T he convection blower speed varies directly with the fuel f eed rate. Reducing the blower s peed will also reduce the noise. W hen the “CONVECTION BLOWER SPEED CONTRO L” button is pushed, the convection blower will switch to its lowest speed.
2.10. REFUELING W e recomm end that you do not let the ho pper drop below ¼ full. If the reload lid stays op en f or m ore than 3 m inutes, a war ning will a ppear. T o restart, press the “RESET” button, and th en pres s the “MOD E” butto n to start the unit on Man ual or T hermostatic mode.
If you are using a wireles s wall therm ostat or a hand held therm ostatic remote control, you can locate the receiver behind the stove‟s back panel, on the right end sid e, just below the term inal block. Most receivers are already equ ipped with quick-connect term inals.
N.B.: It is possible to cha nge the setting of your unit such that if the thermostat does not c all for heat after 45 minutes, the unit will rem ain at the lo west heat setting (#1) but will not shut down ( this is the PILOT ON mode). The stove will remain at the lowest heat level until the therm ostat calls for heat again.

3. MAINTENANCE F AILURE TO CLE AN AND M A INT AIN THIS UNIT AS INDIC A T ED C AN RESULT IN POOR PERFORM ANCE AND SAFETY HAZARDS. NEVER CL EAN WHEN HOT . 3.1. CLEANING TH E BURN POT The burn pot should be kept clean and its ports shoul d not be clogged with combustion resi dues.
3.3. VENTING SYS TEM MAINT EN AN CE REGUL ARLY EXAMINE THE FLUE PIP ES, THE JOINT S, AND THE SE ALING TRIM S TO ENSURE TH A T THE SM OKE AND THE COM BUSTION G ASES ARE NOT T RANSPORTED INTO T HE AIR DUCTING SYST EM. The m ost efficient m ethod to sweep t he venti ng s ystem is by using a 4-inch pellet brush.

3.5. DOOR ADJU S TMENT In order for your sto ve to o perate properl y, the door should be adj usted period ically to provide an air tight f it. T o adjust: • R emove the loc k pin (spring p in) by p.
3.7. GLASS CAR E Clean d oor glass as neces sary. T he use of a s pecialty designed cleaner is recomm ended. Y o ur authorized Drolet dealer can also assis t you to choose the right product. Regular househ old g lass cle aners will not clean creosote.

4. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE W hen your s tove ac ts up, your first reaction m ay be to call f or h elp. This guide m ay save tim e and m one y by enabling you t o solve sim ple prob lems yourself.
STOVE SHUT S OFF A ND DISPLAYS WARN I NG CODE Possible Causes : Possible Remedies : (Unplug stove first when possible) 1. The hopper is out of pellet s. Refill the hopper . 2. The burn pot holes are blocked . Remove the burn pot and clean it thor oughly.
4. The control boa rd is not sending pow er to the igniter. Check the voltage going to the igniter during ignition. It should be a full current. I f the voltage is lower than full current, check the wiring. If the wirin g is functional and properly connected, the board is defective.
STOVE STOPS F EE DING PELLETS A ND APPEA RS ON THE CONT ROL BOARD Possible Cause : Possible Remedy : 1. The hoppe r lid has stay ed open for more than 3 minutes As a s ecurity measure, the auger stops turning and feeding pellets as s oon as the hopper lid opens.

37 5.1. FUSE ACCE SS All fuses are located ins ide the pc board box, you m ust remove the pc board cover to ac cess the fuse. T o do so, simply remove the 5 sc rews securing it in p lace. Make sure you put the pc board box back in place before you restart the unit.
