F ollow the on-screen instructions. At this point, your router is set up and working properly .

Altern ative setu p meth od The W eb-Ba sed Advanced User Interf ace is a Web-based tool that you can us e to set up your router if you do not want to use the S etup Assis tant.
Setting up y our wireless rout er 17 7 Make sure that your modem is connected to your router by checking the lights on the front of your r outer . T he green light labeled Modem should be on if your modem is connected correctly to y our router . If it is not, recheck y our connections.

Setting up y our wireless rout er 19 Configure your ro uter for connect ion to your Internet Ser vice Provid er ( ISP) The Internet/WAN tab is where you will set up your router to connec t to your Internet Ser vice Provider (ISP).
20 Setting u p your wireless rou ter Change WAN MAC Address If your ISP requir es a s pecific MA C address to connect to th e ser vice, y ou can enter a spe cific MA C address or clone the current computer's MA C address through t his link.

26 Setting u p your wireless rou ter Changing the Wi reless Channel There ar e a number of operating channels from which you can choose. In the United States , there ar e 11 channels. In Australia, the United Kingdom, and m ost of Europe, there are 13 channels.
