1 1. Introduction Thank you for choosing the Internet Camera. This Internet Camera sends live video through 10/100Mbps wired network to a web browser or camera viewer across Internet an ywher e i n the world! This compact, self-contained unit lets you keep an eye on your home, your ki ds, and your workplace—whatever’s important to you.
2 Camera Ports The Camera features thr ee ports and a Reset button. y Power The Power port is where you can con nect the power adapter. y LA N The LAN port is where you ca n conn ect the Ethernet network cable.
3 5. Software Installation Follow the simple steps below to run t he Install Wizard to guide you quickl y through the Installation process. The following installation is implem ented in Windows XP. T he installation procedures in Windows 98SE/Me/2000/Serv er 2003 are similar.

7 6. Using the Administrator Utility The Administrator Utility allo ws users to search and setup the cameras located within the Intranet or on the Internet.
8 LA N Auto Discover Click the button will search the camera within the network automatically. Camera List The list shows the camera name and t he setup status of the camera. It means the camera is in the default setting. It means the camera is configured before.
9 6.1.3. Network Setting Network Setting Internet Camera Name The default camera name is “IC150 0W G”. It is recommended to name a meaningful name for the camera. IP A ddress Enter an unused IP Address within the IP address range used on your LA N.
10 6.1.4. E-Mail Setting E-Mail Setting Recipient E-Mail Address This camera supports “Snap Shot” and “Mot ion De tection” functions. You can snapshot a picture and send the picture b y E-Mail. Enter the E-Mail Account for receiving the picture.
11 6.1.5. FTP Settings FTP Settings FTP Serv er This camera supports “Motion Detectio n” functions. When Motion D etecti on eve nt occurred, you can record the live video to FT P server. Enter the FTP address for receiving the video. FTP Port Enter the port of the FTP server.
12 Date / Time Settings Set Date/Time manually Set the current Date and T ime. NTP Server Synchronize the Date and Time with NT P server. Time Zone Select the time zone that your camera put on . NTP Server Specify the IP Address of the NTP Server. 6.1.
13 Advanced Setting UPnP When the UPnP function is enabled, t he camera can be d etected b y UPnP compliant system such as Windows XP. The camera will be displayed in the Neighborhood of Windo ws XP, so you can directly click the camera to vie w the video through web bro wser.

18 7.1.3. Camera St atus There is a status bar shown different color to indicate the status of each Internet Camera. Camera St atus Y ellow It means that there is no camera set to connect. Blue It means that the camera is conn ected and playing the live video.
19 7.1.5. Video Recor ding This utility allows you recor d the video in A VI format files. There are t wo ways of video recording – Manual Recording and Schedule R ecording. Manual Recording Y ou can manu ally record the video stream into an assig ne d video file.

23 Weekly Schedule Schedule Cycle Recording Select this item to enable cycle record ing. W hen the Cycle Recording is e nab led and the storage usage has alr eady reached the maximum reserved storage space, the utility will automatically delete the oldest recorded video file and use the space to store the newly recorded video stream.

25 7.1.13. About About Camera Viewer Utility V ersion Display current Camera Viewer Utility V ersion. 7.1.14. Playback Click the “Open File” and a “Load Fil e” window will be po pped up. Select the file that yo u want to pla y . The viewer will start to play the selected video file.
26 Playing Control Play When the video pl ayback is in S top state, just click “Play” and the viewer will play the video file from the beginning point. W hen the video playback is in Paus e state, just click “Play” and the viewer will play the video file from the current pause point.
27 8. Web Connection and Setup Y ou can use the Web browser to connect the camera for vie wing or setting. Open the web browser and enter the IP Address of the camera to establish a connection. The default IP Address of the camera is “ 192.168.2.3 ”.
