Your projector uses nominal input voltages of 100-120 VAC. The projector automatically selects the correct input voltage. The projector is designed to work with single-phase power sy st ems havi ng a grounded neutral conductor. To reduce the risk of ele ct rical shock, do no t plug into any other type of pow er system.

CONNECTING TO T HE COM PUTER INPUT I TERMINAL (ANALOG HDB 15-PIN) Personal computers can be connected to the HDB1 5-pin (VGA) terminal on the projector. • Connect the computer to these terminals using the VGA cable and V G A/M AC adapter ( p rovided).
CONNECTING TO THE MONITOR OUTPUT TERMI NAL (A N A LOG HDB 15.PIN) This terminal output the information of the selected computer source bein g viewed on the screen (Computer 1 or Computer 2). W h en video source (“Video 1” or “Video 2) is select ed, this terminal outputs Computer 1 input information.

This remote control unit is not only able to operate the projector but also usable as a wireless mouse for a PC. One pointing pad and two click buttons are used f o r wireless mouse operation. W i reless mouse is usable when PC mouse pointer is displayed on the screen.

CONTROL THE PROJECTOR The projector has two types of operation: DIRECT OPERATION and MENU OPERATI ON . D I RECT OPERATION allows you to operate the projector by using one button w it hout showing the M ENU. In M ENU O PERATION mode, you display menus where you can ad just the projectors settings.

TO TURN O N THE PROJECTO R Connect the projector to a source (Co m puter, VC R, Video Cam e ra, Video Disc Player, etc.) using the appropriate terminals on the side of the projector (See CONNECTING THE PROJECTOR section on pa g es 10 -21).
MODE SELECT Press the MODE button on the projector or the COM PUT ER and VIDEO b utton o n the re mote con trol uni t to sel ect Co mputer 1, Computer 2, Video 1 or Video 2 Input. T he “Comput er 1” , “Com pu t er 2”, “Video 1” or “Video 2” display wi l l appear on th e scr een for a few seconds.
DIGITAL ZOOM FUNCTION Press the D. ZOOM but ton on the wireless remote control unit. T he “ D .zoom” and the magni f y ing-glass icon is displ ayed to indicate Digita l zoom mode. D igit al zoo m mode can be adjust the i mage size or pan the image.
In MENU OPERATION mode, you can adjust the projector. You can use the TOP CONT R OL OF THE PROJECTOR or the REMOTE CO N T ROL UNIT. PC A DJUSTM ENT NOTE: This function will be skipped w hen the incoming signal is digital. This projecto r can automatical ly detect most di splay signals fro m most personal compu ters currently distributed. However, some computers adopt a special si g nal fo r m at w hich is diff erent fr om the standa r d one and the projector cannot detect it.

TEMPER A TURE WARNING INDI CATOR The TEMPERAT URE W ARNING INDICATO R flashes red when t he internal temperature of the projector exceeds the normal temperature. Possible causes for the temperature warning may be: 1. Ventilation slots of the projector are blocked.
LAMP REPL A C EMENT W H EN THE PROJ EC T ION LAMP OF THIS PROJECTOR DRAW S TO AN END, THE LAM P REPL ACEMENT INDI CA T OR LIGHTS YELLOW AND THE W A RNI N G M ESSAG E “LAMP REPLACEMENT” APPEARS AS THE RIGHT FIGURE. W HEN T HE WARNING M ESSAG E IS DISPLAYED, THE PROJECTIO N LAMP SHOULD BE REPLACED.
CLE A NING THE LENS Follow these steps to clean the projection lens: 1. Apply a non-abrasive camera lens cleaner to a s of t , d r y cleaning clot h. A void using an excessive amount of cleaner. Abrasive cleaners, solvents or other harsh chemicals mi g ht scratch the le ns.
