6 3 Information on acrylamides According to the latest scientific knowledge, intensive browning of food, especially in products containi ng starch, can constitute a health risk due to acrylamides. Ther efore we r ecommend cooking at the lowest possible temperatur es and not browning foods too much.
7 Disposal 2 Packaging material The packaging materials are envir onmentally friendly and can be recy- cled. The plastic components are id entified by markings, e.g. >PE<, >PS<, etc. Please dispose of the pa ckaging materials in the appropriate container at the community waste disposal facilities.

11 Befor e Using for the first time Setting and changing the time 3 The oven only operates wh en the time has been set. When the appliance has been con- nected to the electrical supply or when there has been a power cut, the function indicator Time flashes automatically .
12 Initial cleaning Clean the oven before using it for the first time. 1 Important: Do not use caustic or abrasive cleaning agents! These can damage the oven surfaces. 3 For the metal surfaces, use commerc ially available cleaning agents. 1. Open the oven door .
13 Using the Rings 3 Also refe r to the operating instru ctions for your built-in hob . It con- tains important information on ovenware, oper ation, cleaning and care. Heat settings • Y ou may select the heat settings within the range of settings 1-9.
14 Setting the heat setting 1. Select the heat setting. 2. To end the cooking pr ocess, turn back to the Off position. 3 The corresponding ring pilot light is lit while the ring is oper ating.
15 Using the Oven 3 The oven is equipped with retractable buttons for “Oven func tions” and “Temper atur e selection” . T o use, pr ess the relevant button. The button then st icks out. Switching the Oven On and Off Switching the oven on Turn the oven functions contr ol knob to the desired function.
16 Changing the oven temperatur e Use the / contr ol knob to raise or lower the temperatur e. The setting changes in steps of 5 °C. Switching the oven off To turn the oven off, turn the oven functions control knob to the OFF position. 3 Cooling fan The fan switches on automatically in order to keep the appliance’s sur- faces cool.
17 3 Heat indicator Indicates warming up When the oven function has been switched on the bars th at slowly light up one after the other indicate how far the oven has heated up. Fas t heat indicator When the fast heat function has been switched on the bar s that flash one after the other indi- cate that fast heat is oper ating.
18 Speedcook After an oven function is select ed, using the additional function Speedcook the empty oven can be pre-heated in a relatively short time. 1 Important : Do not put the food to be cooked into the oven, until Speedcook is comple ted and the oven is operating using the desir ed function.
19 Oven Functions The oven has the following functions: Oven function Application Heating element/ fan Professional hot air For baking on up to three oven levels at th e same time. Set the oven temperatures 20-40 °C lower than wh en using Conventional.
20 Meat pr obe For switching off the oven when th e temperature at the centr e of a roast r eaches a set temper ature. There ar e two temper atures to be set : – The oven temperatur e: See Roasting Table – The core temper atur e: See Meat probe T able 1 Important: Only the meat probe supplied may be used.
21 As soon as the cor e temperatur e set is reached, an audible signal sounds and the oven switches itself off au- tomatically . 7. To switch off the signal, press any button. 1 War ni ng : T he meat pr obe is hot. There is a risk of being burned when removing the plug and the tip of the meat probe.
22 Inserting the Oven Shelf, Baking Tr ay and Roasting P an 3 Shelf runner safety and anti-tip device As a shelf runner safety device, all insertable components have a small curved indentation at the bottom on the right and left-hand edge. Always insert insertable components so that this indentation is at the back of the oven interior .
23 Non-stick accessories To ensure t hat this accessory r ema ins stable and permanently easy to clean, you should foll ow these instructions: • Do not put accessories into the oven without any food. • Do not place accessories on hot c ooking surfaces, as the non-stick properties can be damaged by overheating.
24 Clock Functions Cook time To set how long the oven is to be in use. End time To set when the oven is to switch off again. Countdown To set a countdown. A signal sounds after the time has elapsed. This function does not affect the functioning of the oven.
25 3 How to use the clock functions • After a clock function has been se lected, the corresponding function indicator flashes for about 5 seconds. During this period, the desir ed times can be set or modified using the / dial. • When the desired time has been set, the function indicator continues to flash for approx.
26 Countdown 1. Press the Select button r epeated- ly until the function indicator Countdown flashes. 2. Using the / control knob set the desired countdown (max. 99.00 minutes). The function indicator Countdown lights up. When 90% of the time set has elapsed, an audible signal sounds.
27 Cook time 1. Select the oven function and tem- pe rat ure . 2. Press the Select button r epeated- ly until the function indicator Cook time flashes. 3. Using the / control knob set the desired cooking time (max. 09.59 hours). The function indicator Cook time lights up and the oven com es on immediately .
28 End time 1. Select the oven function and temperatur e. 2. Press the Select button r epeated- ly until the End time function in- dicator flashes. 3. Using the / control knob set the desired switch-off time. The function indicator End time lights up and the oven com es on immediately .
29 Cook time and End time combined 3 Cook time and End time can be used simultaneously , if the oven is to be switched on and off automatically at a later time . 1. Select the oven function and temperatur e. 2. Using the Cook time function, set the time that the dish needs to cook, In this example, 1 hour .
30 Other Functions Switching off the display 2 Y ou can save energy by switching off the clock display . Switching off the cloc k display 1. Turn the / control knob to the right and hold it. 2. In addition press the Select but- ton until the display goes out.
31 Oven’ s child safety device The oven is fitted with a child safety device. As soon as the child safety device is activated, the oven cannot be switched on. 3 For the child safety device to be ac tivated, none of the oven functions must be curr ently selected.
32 Mechanical Door Lock When the appliance is delivered, the door lock is deactivated. Activate the door lock Pull the safety catch forwards until it locks in place. Open the oven door: 1. Shut the door . 2. Press the safety catch and keep it depressed.

49 Making Pr eserves Oven function: Bottom heat • For preserving, use only commercially available pr eserve jar s of the same size. • Jars with twist-off or bayonet type lids and metal tins ar e not suitable . • When making preserves, the firs t shelf position from the bottom is the one most used.

54 Oven Lighting 1 War ni ng : There is a danger of electric shock! Prior to changing the oven light bulb: – Switch off the oven! – Remove the fuses in the fuse box or switch off the circuit breaker . 3 Place a cloth on the oven floor to pr otect the oven light and glass cov- er .
55 Oven Ceiling The upper heating element can be folded down to make it easier to clean the oven ceiling. Folding down the heating ele- ment 1 War ni ng : Only fold down the heat- ing element when the oven is switched off and there is no risk of being burnt! 1.
56 Oven door For easier cleaning of the oven inte rior the oven door of your appliance can be taken off its hinges. Removing the oven door fr om its hinges 1. Open the oven door as far as it will go. 2. Undo the clamping levers (A) on both door hinges fully .
57 Hanging the oven door back on its hinges 1. From the handle side take hold of the oven door with a hand on each side and hold at an angle of appr ox. 45°. P osition the recesses on the bottom of the oven door on the hinges on the oven. Let the door slide down as far as it will go.
58 Oven door glass The oven door is fitted with three panels of glass mounted one behind the other .The inner panels can be removed for cleaning. 1 Important! Rough handling, especiall y ar ound the edges of the front panel, can cause the glass to break.
