The no frost (frost free) syst em enables both the freezing of fresh foodstuff as well as storage of readily froz en foodstuff by cold air . An evaporator cools the air in the interior space of the appliances, which is circulated and unif ormly distributed by a fan.

Impor tant! The freezing capacity s tat- ed can be utilised to the full occasion- ally to freez e large amounts of fresh food. However , if the freezer is filled with large amounts of food for freez- ing every day, the capacity st ated is reduced by about one-third.
Normal Operating Sounds Y ou may hear faint gurgling or bubbling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing to the e vap- orator . When the compressor is on, the refrigerant is being pumped round and you will hear a whirring sound or pulsating noise from the compressor .
Cleaning Before any maint enance or cleaning work is carried out DISCONNECT the appliance from the ELECTRICITY supply. Use a damp cloth to clean your fr eezer . Use hot water , and a mild, non-aromat- ic cleaning agent. Remove the vented floor , as shown on the illustration, and then clean, af ter cleaning, replace the vented floor again.
