6 THE COOLING FAN FOR THE CONTROLS Your appli ance has a co oling fan f itted behin d the controls to pre vent them fr om overheat ing. The c ooling fan will com e on im m ediatel y when the grill is switc hed on and af ter a shor t tim e when either of the ovens are i n use.

14 THE GRILL PAN AND HANDLE The grill pan has a rem ovab le hand le. To insert the handl e, press th e button on the ha ndle with the thumb and pi vot the handl e sligh tl y upwards inserting t he lip into t he wides t part of the brac k et. Move the handle to wards the left, l ower into pos ition and rele ase the bu tton.
15 · The grill pa n grid is re vers ible. T his is usef ul if you wan t to cook f oods of var ying t hick nesses . As a general rule, bread f or toasti ng sho uld be placed on the grid i n the ‘ high’ positio n in th e gril l pan. Foods such as chic k en pieces or chops m ay be grille d using the grill ing grid in the low position.
