4 OPERA TION Bef ore using Remov e all secur ing tapes. W ash inside the appliance with luke war m water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water).
5 Normal Operating Sounds • Y ou ma y hear faint gurgling or b ubb ling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/e v aporator or to the fix ed freezer shelves .
6 Mo v able shelves The walls of the refrigerator ha ve runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired . F or better use of space, the front half-shelv es can lie ov er the rear ones. P ositioning the door shelves T o per mit storage of f ood packages of various sizes , the door shelves can be adjusted in height.
7 Food Storage • T o obtain the best results from your appliance , neither hot f oods nor liquids which ma y e v aporate, should be placed in the larder compar tment. • K eep the time between buying chilled f ood and placing it in your fridge as shor t as possible .
8 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Bef ore any maintenance or cleaning w ork is carr ied out, DISCONNECT the appliance from the ELECTRICITY supply . Internal c leaning Clean the inside and accessories with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0.5 litre of water).
9 - Clean and dr y thoroughly . - Replace the scraper in one of the dra wers . - Reconnect the appliance to the mains or reset the ther mostat to a functioning position. - After letting the appliance run for a least half an hour , replace the previously remo v ed f ood into the compar tment.

17 Fit the appliance in the niche by making sure that it stands against the interior surface of the unit on the side where the door hinges of the appliances are fitted. Inser t the appliance until the upper strip butts up against the unit (1) and make sure that the lo wer hinge is in line with the surf ace of the unit (2).
18 Place guide (Ha) on the inside par t of the fur niture door , up and down as shown in the figure and mark the position of e xternal holes. After having drilled holes, fix the guide with the scre ws supplied.
19 If the appliance is fix ed to the side of the kitchen unit, simply slack en the screws in fixing brac kets (D), mov e the brack ets as shown in the figure and re- tighten the screws .
