7 3 Gener al Information • To prevent cr easing do not exceed the maximum load stated in the progr amme table. • When using fabric conditioning sheets, we recomm end the conditioning sheet is pinned (using a safety pin) to an article of laundry and placed in the tumble dryer .
8 2 Envir onmental pr otection tips • Your laundry will become light and soft in the laundry dryer even without a soft rinsing agent. • Loosen your laundry before loading it into the dryer . This helps to prevent lengthy running times and c reasing.

12 The pr ogramme selector positions • OFF: The tumble dryer is switched off. •L I G H T : The drum light switches on when the door is opened. • Progr amme group CO TTONS: Progr ammes for drying cotton and linen fabrics; maximum load 6 kg. • Progr amme group EASY CARES: Progr ammes for drying mixed fabrics and synthetics; maximum load 3 kg.
13 Brief oper ating instructions • Ensure the laundry is well spun before tumble drying. • Prepare the laundry . • Open the door and load the laundry . • Shut the door . Attention! Do not catch washing in the door . • Select the drying progr amme on the pr ogramme selector .
14 Drying Pr epare the laundry • To pr event tangled bundles of laundry: Close zip fasteners; button-up bed linen and pillow cases; tie-together loose tapes, e.g. aprons. • Empty all pockets. • Remove all me tal objects (i.e. paper clips, pins, etc.

Pr ess the SP E C I A L C A R E bu t t o n for fabrics bearing the care symbol S . Gentle drying is advisa- ble for heat-sensitive fabrics (such as acrylic and viscose).
Drying 16 0 Press the ST ART / P AUSE button. 0 Press the DELA Y TIMER button until the correct delay is displayed. 0 Press the ST ART / P AUSE button again. The progr amme will now start straig ht away or the countdown will start and the pr ogramme will start automat ically at the end of the countdown.
Drying 17 Removing the laundry 0 Open the door and remove the laundry . Empty the water r eservoir 1 Caution! The condensed water is not suitable for drinking or for use with foodstuffs. The water reservoir should be empt ied comletely after every drying progr amme.
Drying 18 Clean the fluff filter To ensur e efficient oper ation of the tumble dryer , clean the fluff filter after each drying progr amme. Also check whether there ar e any r e mnants or fluff from the washing in the drum; r emove immediately . 0 Press the catch of the filter lid down- wards.
Drying 19 Cleaning the heat exchanger 1 Important! When the HEAT EXCHANGER display illuminates, it is essen- tial to clean the heat exchanger . Otherwise your dryer might suffer damage. In addition energy consumption will be incr eased if the heat exchanger unit is covered with fluff.

23 Cleaning and maintenance Cleaning the filter ar ea 1 Important! When the CL EAN FIL TER displa y lights, it is essential to clean the fluff filter . Otherwise your dryer might suffer damage. A small amount of fluff may reach the ar ea ar ound the filter in spite of the fluff filter .

Do not use household furniture polish or aggressive deter- gents. 0 Wipe over the panel and operating parts with a damp cloth. Only use warm water .
