Operating Instructions Important safety information Only operate the ProSteam programmes with distilled water! Mains water causes damage to the appliance. In the interest of your safety and to ensure the correct use, before installing and first using the applian ce, read this user manual carefully, including its hints and warnings.
• Items such as foam rubber (la tex foam), shower caps, waterproof textile s, rubber backed articles and clothes or pillows fitted with foam rubber pads shoul d not be dried in the tumble dry er. • Always unplug the applia nce after use, cle an and maintenanc e.
Never stop a tumble dry befo re the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out so that the heat is dissipated. Risk of fire! • Risk of electric shock! Do not spray dow n the appl iance with jets of water. Installation • Note the "Ins tallation" instructions.
• Clothes which are dripping wet sh ould not be placed in the dryer. • Garments which have been in co ntact with volati le petroleum produc ts should not be machine dried. If volatile cleaning fluids are used, care should be taken t o ensure that the fluid is removed from the garment before placing in t he machine.
• When discarding the appliance, cut the electrical supply cable and destroy the plug with the remaining cable. Disable to door catch in order to prevent young children from becoming trapped in side the machine while playing.

Before first use In order to remo ve any residu es which may h ave been p roduced duri ng production, wipe the dryer drum with a damp cloth or carry out a brief drying cycle (30 MIN) with damp cloths in the mach ine.
Sorting and preparing laundry Sorting laundry • Sort by fabric type: – Cotton/linen for programmes in COTTONS (Baumwolle) pogramme group. – Mixtures and synthetics for progr ammes in SYNTHETICS (Mischgewebe) pro- gramme group. • Sorting by care label.
• To smooth or freshen laundry with a Pro Steam programme, sort laundry by size, weight, material and colour. Only smooth textiles togethe r that ar e similar in terms of size, weight, material and colour. • Do not dry new, coloured textiles to gether with light-coloured lau ndry items.
Use force to push against the loading door (push point - see pictu re) 2. Load your laundry (do not force it in). Do not jam laundry in between the loading door and rubber seal.
Pro Steam system Fill steam water tank You must fill up the steam water ta nk before using a Pro Steam progra mme for the first time. Use the distilled water provided if there is not yet any condensed water from previous drying programmes (see chapter on ‘Care and cleaning, Emptying condensed water container’).
Fill with distilled water from the canister provided, up to the MAX mark inside the container. Push filler neck and drawer with condensed w ater container back in. When dry, all textiles not specifically prohib ited in the chapter ‘Sort ing and preparing laundry’ may be treated wit h the Pro Steam System.

Given the wide rang e of different textile grad es and propert ies that can be manufactured today using diffe rent mechanical and chemical processes, we recommend running the first few Pro Steam pro grammes at low steam levels and with a small number of garments that are as similar as p ossible.

Selecting the programme Use the programme s elector to set the pr ogramme you requ ire. The estimated pro- gramme duration (in hours and minu tes) appe ars in the mult i-display as well as cycle finish time.
DELICATE For especially gentle drying of sensitive fabrics with the c are label: and for temperature-sensitive te xtiles (e.g. acrylic, viscose). Programme is exec uted with reduced heat. DELICATE is only suitable for use with loads of up to 3kg. When the option is active, the DELICATE icon is on.
The high er the spin speed w as, the shor ter the programme length for the drying cycle. Activate the SPIN SPEED option and then number of times press OPTION button until the desired spin speed of the initial drainage is disp layed. No value is shown if no spin speed is selected.

1. Open the loading door to rem ove the laundry. 2. Before removing the laundry, remove flu ff from th e micro-fine filter. It is best to use a damp hand for this purpose. (See “Care and cleaning” cha pter.) 3. Remove laundry. 4. Turn the programme knob to OFF.
2. Use a damp hand to clean the micro- fine filter, which is built into the lower part of the loading aperture. 3. After a period of time, a patina due to detergent residue on laundry forms on the filters. When this oc curs, clean the filt ers with warm water us ing a brush.
5. Take out fine strainer. 6. Remove fluff from fine stra iner. It is best to use a damp hand for this pur pose. Clean the entire filter area The strainer area does not have to be cleaned after every drying cyc le, but should be checked regularl y and cleaned of fluff if necessa ry.
If the fine strainer is not fitted, the large mesh filter will not snap into p lace and the loading door cannot b e closed. Cleaning the door seal Wipe the door seal with a damp cloth immedi ately after the drying cycle has finished. Emptying the condensate tank Empty condensed water containe r after every drying cycle .
1. 1 2 Take out draw er containin g condensed w ater conta iner completely 1 and pull up the condensed water container’s drai nage pipe as far as it w ill go 2 . 2. Pour condensed water out into a basin or similar receptacle . 3. Slide outlet co nnections in an d refit condensate tan k.
The condensed water can be used as distilled water, e.g. for steam pro- grammes. However, first filter the condensed water to remove any residues and small pieces of fluff. Using the attached canist er to filter: Pour the water out of the container straight through the filter at th e top of the canister.
4. Turn both lock washers inwards. 5. Use the handle to pu ll the heat exchanger out of the base an d carry it ho rizontally to prevent any remainin g water from spilling. 6. To empty the heat exchanger , hold vertically over a washing-up bowl. Do not use sharp objects to clean.
1. Pull out completely the drawer co ntaining condense d wat er container. 2. Turn the valve/filter to the OFF position. 3. Wait a few secon ds to allow the co rrect emptying of the valve/filter. 4. Pull out the valve/filter. 5. Clean the valve/filter unde r warm water.
Clean operating screen and housing Do not use fur niture cleaners or aggressive cleaning agents to clean t he machine. Use a damp cloth to wip e down the op erating screen and ho using.
Clothes are not removed until the anti-creas e phase is finished. Remove clothes quickly one at a time from the ma- chine as soon as possible after the start of the anti- crease phase. Garments not hun g on clothes hangers and/or not tugged into shape.
Conductance of water at installation site differs from standard setting of machine. Re-programme standard setting for degree of dry- ing (see ‘Programming options’ chapter). Loading door do es not close. Mess age on the display: Please check if the door is closed properly and then press START.
Drying cycle lasts an unusually long time. Not e: After around 5 hours the drying cycle ends automatically (see „Drying cycle complete ”). Lint filter clogged. Clean lint filter. Fluff filter clogged. Clean fluff filter. Load volume too bi g. Reduce load volume.
Check the correct positioning of o-ring ga sket before screwing back the door light cover. Do not operate the dryer when missing o-ring gasket on door light cover. For safety reasons, the cover mus t be screw ed down ti ghtly. If th is is not done, the dryer must not be op erated.
Language setting is always first as a default. 1. Press OK button - frame above language abbre viation starts blinking. 2. Press OPTION button until you set reques ted language. 3. Press OK to confi rm. TIME 1. Press OPTION button until TIME selected.
