The no frost (frost fr ee) system enables both the freezing of fresh f oodstuf f as well as storage of readily fr ozen foodstuf f by cold air . An evaporator cools the air in the interior space of the appliances, which is circulat ed and uniformly distributed by a fan.

Normal Operating Sounds Y ou may hear faint gurgling or bubbling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing t o the evap- orator . When the compressor is on, the refrigerant is being pumped round and you will hear a whirring sound or pulsating noise from the compressor .
Cleaning Before an y maintenance or cleaning work is carried out DISCONNECT the appliance from the ELECTRICIT Y supply . Use a damp cloth to clean y our freezer . Use hot water , and a mild, non-aromat- ic cleaning agent. Remove the vented floor , as shown on the illustration, and then clean, af ter cleaning, replace the vent ed f loor again.
