CONFIGURING THE WIRELESS LAN ACCESS POINT The Wireless Access Point ha s a Web GUI inte rface for t he configuration. The AP can be configured through the Web B r owser. A network manager can manage, control and monitor the AP from the local LAN. This sectio n indicates how to configure the AP to enable its functions.
Quick Setup with Wizard Setup wizard is provided as the part of the web configurat ion utility. You can simply follow the step-by-step process to get your Access P oint configuration r eady to run in 4 eas y steps by clicking on t he “Wizard” button on the function menu.

AP Name: appoint a name for the AP. SSID: It is an ASCII string up to 32 ch aracters used t o identify a WLAN that prevents the unintentional merging of two co-lo cated WLANs. The SSID value must be th e same in all sta tions and AP in the extended WLAN.
