9 Maintenance And Ser vice R outine m aintenance : At least once a year , run through the following procedures to ensure the system is clean and working properly . Check the burner to see if all the ports are clear and clean. Check the pilot to make sure it is not blocked by anything.

If a plated face has been purchased, it should be unpacked/unwrapped carefully to avoid getting anything on the surface of the nish, including cleaners, polish and nger prints.
