Maintenance ■ ■ ■ ■ 52 Cleaning the Lens Clean the lens whenever you notice dirt or dust on the surface. Wipe the lens surface gently with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. To remove dirt or stains on the lens, moisten a soft cloth with water and a neutral detergent and gently wipe the lens surface.
Cleaning the Air Filter ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ 53 Cleaning the Air Filter The air filter, which is located at the bottom of the projector, should be cleaned after every 100 hours of use. If it is not cleaned periodically, it can become clogged with dust and prevent the projector from being ventilated properly.
Maintenance ■ ■ ■ ■ 54 3. The air filter is attached to the inside of the projector. To clean the filter you are advised to use a small vacuum cleaner designed for computers and other office equipment. If the dirt is difficult to remove or if the filter is torn, replace it.
