3 The oven will rest on a surface that can support its weight. The benchtop and oven c avity are square and level, and are the required dimensions. The height from the floor suits the user .

6 Impor tant: Please take extra care not to damage the lo wer trim of the oven. The space between the bottom of the door and the low er trim is important for the correct air circulation into the ov en. Ensure the oven sits on w ooden blocks or similar supports when it is removed from the carton as shown in F ig.

11 Before using y our new oven, please: 1 Read this user guide, taking special note of the ‘Safety and warnings’ sec tion. 2 Remove all acc essories and packaging. 3 Set the clock. The o ven will not work until the clock has been set. 4 Condition the oven: Put in the shelves and tra ys.
12 ELECTRONIC MODELS Using the c ontrol butt ons Note: After using the control butt ons, wait for three beeps t o confirm that you can proc eed. T o select the volume of the beeps, press the button.
13 Setting the clock When first connected, or after a power failur e, ‘0:00’ will show on the display . T o set the clock, press the and buttons together and then press the and buttons. Note: Changing the time will delete an y automatic program. Using the timer Y ou can use the timer at any time , even when the oven is not in use .
14 Selec ting the cooking func tions Oven lamp When the symbol is lit only the oven lamp is on. Oven cooking functions When you select each cooking function, its symbol is activated. setting setting Function control buttons Y ou can use these buttons to choose the oven function you want.

16 Cooking functions OVEN LAMP Only the oven light comes on. It remains on in all the cooking functions. BAKE The upper and lower heating elements c ome on. BAKE is the traditional method of cooking. It is best to cook on only one shelf at a time in this function.
17 FA N B A K E The upper and lower heating elements and the fan c ome on. DEFROST/W ARM The lower heating element and the fan c ome on. T o defrost food , use at the preset temperature only (‘ dEF’). T o warm food, change the pr eset temperature to between 75 O C and 100 O C.
18 Manual and automatic c ooking Using the ov en manually T o use the oven manually , turn it on, and then select the func tion and temperature. The oven will start to operate about four sec onds after your last selection. If ‘ A ’ is shown on the display , then you need to cancel the pre-set automatic cooking.
19 Error codes If there is a problem the oven is aut omatically switched off . Only the cooling fan motor operates and an error message appears on the display . The oven cannot be used . If the problem disappears the oven returns t o the stand-by (OFF) condition.
20 Car e and cleaning Impor tant! Before you start cleaning your oven, please: Read these cleaning instructions and the ‘Safet y and warnings ’ section at the star t of this user guide. T urn the oven off at the wall . Make sure the ov en is a safe temperature to touch.
21 Cleaning the inside of your ov en Do not use abrasive cleaners, cloths or pads to clean the enamel . Do not use any ov en cleaners, abrasive cleaners, ammonia-based cleaners , products containing acids or alkalis, or detergents on the catalytic panels (not supplied with all models).
22 Car e and cleaning Cleaning the fat filter Clean the fat filter after every use. If the filter is not cleaned, it will block and shorten the life of the fan element.
23 Sliding shelf supports (some models only) The telescopic sliding shelf supports make it safer and easier to insert and remove the ov en shelves and trays . They stop when they are pulled out t o the maximum position. Wipe the supports with a damp cloth and a mild detergent only.
24 Car e and cleaning Fig .27 Fig .21a Cleaning the oven door glass Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven door glass since they scratch the surface, which may result in shattering of the glass . The oven door has thr ee panes of glass.

The oven will come on. 3 Decide how long the food will take to c ook, allowing time for preheating if necessary .

37 Using the pyr olytic self-clean func tion Impor tant! Do not use oven cleaners, any degreasing cleaners , or oven liners . Do not clean the door or cavity seals, or use any ov en cleaning products on the seals. Do not use your oven to clean misc ellaneous par ts.
38 Car e and cleaning Pyrolytic self-clean troubleshooting 1 The self- clean cycle has been cancelled by turning the function knob to O. What to do: W ait for the door to unlock. This happens automatically when the temperature inside the oven drops below 300 O C.
