13 The c ontrol panel A A Using the touch contr ols Use the ball of your finger , not its tip. The controls respond to touch, so you don ’t need to apply any pr essure.
14 F irst use Setting the Clock Impor tant! The clock needs to be set before you can use y our oven. 1 When the power to the o ven is turned on or restored after a po wer failure, 0 . 00 will flash in the display . 3 T ouch the cooking time and stop time controls together f or 2 seconds to accept the time .
15 F irst use Condition the o ven It is impor tant to condition your o ven before using it f or cooking and bak ing. C onditioning will burn off any manufacturing residues and ensure that y ou get the best results right from the start. 1 Make sure you hav e removed ALL the cable ties used to secur e the shelving during transit.
16 Using the timer Y ou can use the timer at any time, ev en if you are not using the ov en. The time counts down in minutes (hours:min) until the last 5 minut es of cooking, when it will countdown in seconds (min:sec). Y ou can set the timer for up to 4 hours .
17 Using the timer T o cancel the timer 1 T ouch the timer control to show the remaining time. 2 Either: T ouch the - control and scroll the time down to 0 . 00 or T ouch and hold the - and + controls together until the display shows 0 . 00. 3 the timer indicator and display will flash for a few sec onds and then return to the time of day .
18 General guidelines This oven has been desig ned to utilise its four elements and rear fan in diff ering combinations to provide you with enhanc ed per formance and a wide range of functions, allowing y ou to cook all types of food to perfection.
19 Cooking guide ROASTING Use Fan Grill t o roast whole chicken. F or other meats use Bake for a succulent juicy flavoursome r oast. Boneless, rolled or stuff ed roasts take longer than roasts containing bones . Poultry should be well cooked with the juices running clear and an internal t emperature of 75°C.
20 upper outer and lower elements Heat comes from both the upper and low er elements. The fan is not used in this function. Ideal for cakes and foods that r equire baking for a long time or at low temperatures . This function is not suitable for multi-shelf cooking.
21 Oven functions Fan Fo rced fan and rear element By using the central rear heating element and fan, hot air is blown int o the cavity, pr oviding a consistent temperature at all lev els, making it per fect for multi-shelf cooking. T rays of c ookies cooked on different shelves are crisp on the outside and chewy in the middle.
22 Oven functions fan plus lower element The fan circulates heat fr om the lower element throughout the ov en. Excellent f or cooking pizza as it crisps the base beautifully without overcooking the topping. Ideal for foods such as sweet and savoury pastry foods and delicate foods that require some top browning eg frittata, quiche.
23 Oven functions upper inner and outer elements This function delivers intense radiant heat from both t op elements. Y ou can set the intensity of the heat by altering the temperatur e setting. Preheating is not essential although some people pr efer to allow the element to heat f or a few minutes befor e they place food under the grill.

30 Y ou can set the oven to aut omatically turn on later , cook for a preset time (cooking time), then automatically turn off at a preset stop time . See the example and instructions below (st eps 1 to 7).

Note: if you have set the oven t o automatically turn on later , the oven cooling fan will come on when you select a function, but the light will be off and the oven will not heat up .
33 Aut omatic cooking When automatic c ooking is set The oven lights will sta y off but your oven is now set f or automatic cooking. It will automatically heat up at the required time . The display will show the time of da y with the cooking time and stop time A indicators lit.
34 Manual cleaning Car e and cleaning AL W A YS NE VER Before any manual cleaning or maintenance, first w ait for the oven to c ool down to a safe temperature to touch, then turn its power supply off at the w all. Read these cleaning instructions and the ‘Safet y and w arnings’ section before you start cleaning your oven.
35 Car e and cleaning What? How? Impor tant! Glass surfaces (oven door panes, control panel) Don’ t use oven cleaners or any other harsh/abrasive cleaners , cloths, scouring pads , steel wool or sharp metal scrapers to clean the glass surfaces.
36 Car e and cleaning Manual cleaning What? How? Impor tant! Dials Clean with a solution of mild detergent and hot water , then wipe dr y . Do not use stainless steel or oven cleaner on the dials, as doing so may damage their coating.

Place each catalytic panel flush against the side wall, noting the position of the cutouts for the lamp and lock nuts . Replace shelving . T o replace a wir e shelf, check the guar d rail (as shown) to make sure the shelf is the right wa y up.

41 Car e and cleaning Drop-down upper element Impor tant! Always turn off the ov en at the wall before low ering the upper element. Make sure the ov en has cooled down completely before starting. T o lower the upper element: use a flat-head screw driver or a small coin to loosen the element fixing screw .
42 Car e and cleaning Replacing the oven light bulb Note: Oven bulb replacement is not co vered by your warranty . Y our oven uses a screw-in incandescent OVEN bulb - it must be c apable of withstanding high temperatures (300 o C) and with the specifications: 230-240V , 50Hz and 25W .

44 Car e and cleaning Removing the door glass panes for cleaning Impor tant! Make sure y ou follow the precautions and instructions below very carefully . Replacing the glass panes and the door incorrectly may result in damage to the oven and may void y our warranty .
45 Car e and cleaning Remove the inner pane Remove the middle pane 1 Press in on both tabs t o release the Glass retainers. 2 Slide both Glass retainers awa y from the pane. 5 Brace the top of the door against your body . Grasp both sides of the outer edges of the pane at the bottom of the door .
46 Car e and cleaning After cleaning, r eplace the door glass panes When replacing the glass panes, make sur e that: you replace all panes c orrectly , as shown.
47 Car e and cleaning 6 4 5 4a Ensure the pane is the right way up (ie the logo should be readable at the bottom of the door) 4b Slide the pane into the upper notch on the bottom clamps at the bottom of the door . Impor tant! Make sure the glass retainers are c orrectly and firmly in place and that the glass panes are secure.
