EJECT FUNCTION - Pressing this will eject the CD. The eject function will only when the unit is in cue mode, this is to prevent accidentally ejecting the disc when in play mode.

This button allows you to override the inter nal beat clock and manually set a tracks BPMs. T o manual set the BPMs; tap this button a few times to a tracks heavy down beat, the unit will automatically calculate your tapping and trans - late it into a tracks BPMs.

5. STOPPING PLA YBACK - Figures 10 & 11 Stopping playback will not stop the drive mechanism, but merely pause or cue the track, this function allows the unit to begin play instantly . The drive mechanism will only stop if a disc is ejected or the unit has gone in to sleep mode.

While a disc is in P AUSE or CUE mode, use the JOG WHEEL (20) to scroll thr ough a track to find your desired starting point. Once you have found your desired position press the PLA Y BUTTON (32) to set your cue point.

Changing the Sample Parameters: Changing the sample parameters allows you to change the sample's volume (SR) and pitch (SP). The parameter values for the pitch range from -0 94~0 00~+0 94 and volume values range from 0 00 to 2 55 (0 00 being the lowest).
13. BANK (FLASH) ST ART BUTTONS (30): These buttons are used to store your samples and cue points. Only a sample or a cue point can be stored into each of these thr ee banks. When a sample is stored in to these banks you may use the sample starting point as a cue point.

RECALL FLASH MEMOR Y : The DCD-PRO1000 can store all your user pr ogrammed cue points and effect parameters in to memory . These setting may be recalled at any time, even when a disc has been removed and reloaded at a later time.
