These forward curved fans should be checked for free r otation. If any binding occurs, check for concealed damage and foreign objects in the fan housing.
22 Model ERV e Energy Recovery Unit Vibration Excessive vibration may be experienced during initial start-up. Left unchecked, excessive vibration can cause a multitude of problems, including structural and/or component failure. The most common sour ces of vibration are listed.

Backdraft dampers can be checked by hand to determine if blades open and close freely . Apply power to motorized dampers to ensure the actuator opens and closes the damper as designed.
