24 Connecting the P ow er Adapter 1. Connect the power cord to t he power adapter as illustrated. 2. Plug the power adapter connector in to the DC-IN on the rear p anel of the TV . 3. Insert the three-pronged plug at the other end of the power cord into a powe r outlet.
25 Using the R emote Control For best results, use the remote co ntrol within a dist ance of 5 meters from the front of the TV’ s signal sensor . Do not exceed an an gle of 30 degrees when pointing at the signa l sensor . Refer to the following illustration.
26 T ur ning the TV On and Off 1. Press the POWE R button; the power indicator LED chang es from red to gre en, indicating that the power has been turned on. 2. Press the POWER button again; the power indicator LED changes from green to red, indi - cating that the TV is in standby (off) mode.
