Setup 34 Installing the operating s ystem This HP ProLiant server does not ship with provis ioning media. Everything needed to manage an d install the system soft ware and firmwa re is preloade d on the server. To operate properly, the server mus t have a supported operating system.

Hardware options installation 37 IMPORTANT: The boot order settings, fir mware versions, an d any additional HP softwar e, including the HP Smart A rray SAS license key, are stored in the system board. Tra nsfer this information to the new system board to ensure normal server operation when the system board is replaced.
