GENERAL SAFETY PRECA UTIONS English – 9 Battery safety The rechargeable Husqv ar na batteries, BLi, are exclusiv ely used as a power supply f or the relevant Husqvarna cordless appliances. T o av oid injur y , the battery must not be used as a power source for other devices .

ASSEMBL Y English – 13 Fitting the loop handle • Clip the loop handle onto the shaft. Note that the loop handle must be fitted between the arrows on the shaft. • Slide the spacer into the slot in the loop handle. • Fit the nut, knob and screw .
ASSEMBL Y 14 – English Standard harness Quick release At the front is an easily accessible, quic k release. Use this if the engine catches fire or in any other emergency situation that requires you to free y ourself from the machine and harness. W ORKING TECHNIQUES 20 – English Clearing • The clearing technique removes all unw anted vegetation. Keep the trimmer head just above the ground and tilt it. Let the end of the line strike the ground around trees, posts , statues and the like. CA UTION! This technique increases the w ear on the line.
MAINTENANCE English – 21 Inspection and maintenance All servicing and repair work on the machine requires special training. This is especially true of the machine ′ s safety equipment. If your machine fails an y of the chec ks described below you must contact y our ser vice agent.
