All IBM personal computers co ntain a non-recharg eable coin cell battery to provide power to the system clock. In addition many mobile pr oducts such a s Thinkpad notebook PCs utilize a rechargeable battery pack to provide system power when in portable mode.
Important : Before connecting the monit or, turn off the computer and attached devices. Also, ensure the power at the electrical outlet matc hes the power requirem ents of the monitor. Refer to the “Specifications” section on page 2 0 for more details.
Workplace preparation Positioning the monit or Choose a suitable place to positio n the monitor where it is not near fluorescent desk lighting or any equipment that produces magne tic fields t hat could cause interference.
