When installed in the chassis, the shield blocks radio frequency transmissions, protects internal compone nts from dust and foreign ob jects, and promotes correct airflow within the chassis.

Install a DIMM equal in speed and to tal size of the DIMMs installed in channel A in either DIMM 0 or DIMM 1 of channel B (see Figure 15).
