In addition to setting Bass and T reble tone adjustment values, you can completely b ypass the tone control circuitry for a purer sound.

69 Troubleshooting Chapter F our: Troubleshooting Troubleshooting is ho w you determine what part of a complex sy stem (like a home theater sy stem) is at fault when the system isn ’ t w orking how y ou think it should.

Wrong or loose connections are the most likely cause of the most common home entertainment problem: no sound. 73 Troubleshooting Sound A Dol b y Digital Surround EX-encoded source is pl a y ed with THX Surround EX set to “ A uto ” , but the source is not reproduced in 6.1- channel audio. • Some encoded sources (discs) do not contain the recording of the encoding identification signal.
