This type of appliance depends primarily on air circulation (convection) to disperse its heat, and therefore, a central location is often best.

If your stove is set up to run on a thermostat, the thermostat circuit needs to be closed (as if permanently in the demand mode).

33 PROBLEM CAUSE(S) SOLUTIONS 1. Fire burns with a lazy orange fl ame. Pellets build up in the grate and there is excessive glass soot that is diffi - cult to remove (Ash and soot are a product of combustion with any wood products, so some build-up on the glass is normal).
