Roasting Roasting is the method for cooking large, tender cuts of meat uncovered, without adding moisture. General Tips Most meats are roasted at 325°F . It is not necessary to preheat the oven. Place the roasting pan on a rack which has been placed in either of the two lowest rack positions.

MAINTENANCE Oven or Br oiler Door Do not place excessive weight on an open oven door or stand on an open door as, in some cases, it could damage the door , cause the appliance to tip over and possibly cause injury . When opening the oven door , allow steam and hot air to escape before reaching into the oven to check, add or remove food.
Oven Light Oven light bulb is located on the back oven wall. Before replacing the light bulb, disconnect power to oven . Be sure bulb is cool. Do not touch a hot bulb with a damp cloth as the bulb may break. Use a dry pot holder to prevent possible harm to hands.
