ENGLISH 2 Playing CD-RW discs This unit can play back the CD-RW (ReW ritable) discs as well as ordinary music CD and CD-R (Recor dable) discs. • The CD-R and CD-RW discs should contain pr operly- recor ded TOC infor mation so that they can be played back.
ENGLISH 3 Compact discs The glossy side shining like a rainbow is the front side of the disc, and the side on which the label is printed is the back. Unlike conventional turntables for playing analog discs, the SA8260 Super Audio CD Player reads the information recor ded on the disc from underneath without contacting it using a beam of laser light.
ENGLISH 4 Loading batteries Batteries in this remote contr ol unit have a life of approximately 1 year under normal operating conditions. If the remote control unit is not going to be used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries. Also, if you notice that the batteries ar e starting to run down, replace them as soon as possible.

For multi-channel play , select “MUL TI” with SOUND MODE button on the unit or remote. 1. ENGLISH 9 The Speaker Setting of SACD for Multi-Channel Audio We r ecommend you to use ITU (International T elecommunication Union) speaker setting because SACD multi-channel discs are recor ded and mixed down to hear the best quality sound when this setting ar e used.

ENGLISH 13 Random Play When RANDOM button is pressed, the unit shuffles track order and plays all the tracks in the shuf fled or der . It can be done in both playback and stop modes. • The gap between tracks will be appr oximately 4 seconds during random play .
