Configuring the compact disc player M any advanced aspects of the 588 Compact Disc Player can be configured to alter the way it operates with the other Meridian equipment in your system. These settings are initially set to standard values, which are suitable for most situations, and this chapter describes how to restore the standard settings.

Choosing Type 1 overrides any other configuration you may have performed, and so can be used to reset the configuration of the unit.
