Press forw ard with your thumb on the top cov er latch, holding it in place while you gently lower the top co ver u ntil it rests in an open positio n.
Getting Started 1.13 Adjusting Monitor and Ringer Volume For your convenience, your fax machine allows you to set the volume of the monitor speaker and of the ringer. To setting monitor volume 1. Press monitor/call . You should hear a dial tone. If not, go back and re-check your connections so far.

Included in this list is the re mote location phone number, the time the command is schedu led to start, and a n ote stating whether the command is a polling or rela y broad cast.

This m ay be okay in a “secure” location, bu t elsewhere could be a problem. To record m essages but retain greater security, use y our fax’s voice m a il boxes.
