4 A ssembly requires two persons. P lace all parts of the exercise cycle in a cleared area and remove the packing materials. Do not dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed. Assembly requires the included tools and your own adjustable wrench and Phillips screw- d river .
5 2. While another person lifts the rear of the Frame (1), attach the Rear Stabilizer (16) to the Frame with four M 8x 50mm Button Screws (52) and four M8 Split W ashers (55).
6 7. While another person holds the Console (4) near the Handlebar (39), connect the console wire harness to the Upper Wire Harness (42). Next, connect the pulse wire on the Console to the Pulse Wire (51) in the Handlebar . Note: The remaining wire (not shown) on the Console is used during the manufacturing process; disregard this wire.

8 HOW TO ADJUST THE PEDAL STRAPS T o tighten a pedal strap, simply pull the end of the pedal strap down- wards. T o loosen the pedal strap, press the tab on the side of the pedal and pull the pedal strap upwards. HOW T O ADJUST THE SEA T The seat can be adjusted forward or backward to the position that is the most comfortable for you.
9 EBNT3196 NTEX3196 Dragonfly FEA TURES OF THE CONSOLE The advanced console offers an array of features designed to make your workouts more effective and enjoyable. When you select the manual mode of the console, you can change the resistance of the pedals with the touch of a button.
10 HOW TO USE THE MANUAL MODE Note: If there is a sheet of clear plastic on the face of the console, remove the plastic. P ress any button on the console or begin pedaling to turn on the console. W hen you turn on the console, the display will light. A tone will then sound and the console will be ready for use.
1 1 Measure your heart rate if desired. If there are s heets of clear p lastic on the metal contacts on the handgrip pulse sensor , remove the plas- tic. In addition, make sure that your hands are clean. T o mea- sure your heart rate, hold the handgrip pulse sensor with your palms resting against the metal conta cts.
12 HOW TO USE A PRESET PROGRAM Press any button on the console or begin p edaling to turn on the console. See step 1 on page 10. Select a preset program.
13 H OW TO USE A HEART RA TE PROGRAM Press any button on the console or begin p edaling to turn on the console. See step 1 on page 10. S elect a heart rate program. T o select one of the heart rate programs, press the Heart Rate Programs button repeatedly until the words HEART RA TE 1 or HEART RA TE 2 appear in the display .
14 I f you stop pedaling for several seconds, a series of tones will sound and the program will pause. T o restart the program, simply resume pedaling. The program will continue until the last segment of the program ends. Follow your progress with the displ ay .
15 Inspect and tighten all parts of the exercise cycle reg- ularly . Replace any worn parts immediately . T o clean the exercise cycle, use a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap. Important: T o avoid damage to the console, keep liquids away from the console and keep the console out of direct sunlight.
16 The following guidelines will help you to plan your exercise program. Remember that proper nutrition and adequate rest are essential for successful results. EXERCISE INTENSITY Whether your goal is to burn fat or to strengthen your cardiovascular system, the key to achieving the desired results is to exercise with the proper intensity .
