0-1 Introduction Introduction This manual contains suppl ementary information regarding th e operation and use of speci fic conversions available for your vehicle. This manual should be used in conjunctio n with the vehicle Owner's Manua l. You must always comply with the specific laws of th e country that you are travelling through.
1-1 Tipper Tipper Loading 1) The three-way tipper i s designed for carrying bulk materials that can be discharged by tipping. The three-way tipper is not desig ned for carrying people or unsuitable/ unsafe materials . Ensure the vehicle tailboard and sideboards are se curely closed before loading.
1-2 Tipper Tailboard Opening To open the tailboard, pull up the release levers to disengage the locks and lower the tailboard fu lly. To close the tailb oard, raise the tailboard and push fi rmly into position. Push down the release levers ensuring locks engage fully .
1-3 Tipper To reinstall: Instal l the tailboard onto the upper hinges and push d own the release levers ensuring l ocks engage fully. Insert the tailboard into the low er hinges and push the remote le ver to lock position. Check the tailboard is secure.
1-4 Tipper Tipper operation The tipper body h as two locking pin s with each pin having a locato r on its upper edge. The locking pin s are used to obtain any one of the three tipping positions. To insert locking pi n into pivot, ensure the handle and l ocator are facing up.
1-5 Tipper Raising and lowering the tipper The tipper is operated using the remote control loca ted on the sea t base. The remote con trol enables th e user to supervise the operation of the tipper from outside the vehicle. The remote con trol is magnetic and can be stored on the seat ba se when not in use.
1-6 Tipper To tip to the ri ght side, fully insert locking pins into the front and rear right-hand pivots. Ensure the h andle and locator on both locking pins are facing up. Rotate both locking pin s away from the upright position to ensure the locking pins are secured.
1-7 Tipper Stowing the safety prop: 1. Raise th e tipper body sufficie ntly to release the safety prop from its support. 2. Fold the safety prop into the stowed position and secure in the spring clip. 3. Lower the tippe r body. Cleaning Dirt or mud which remains dry on the body may become abrasive and can damage paint, seals, locks and hinges.

1-10 Tipper Maintenance In addition to the standard maintenance for your ve hicle, the tipper body requires further checks and operations to be performed. Seek the assistance of a workshop. Hydraulic fluid change It is necessary to change the hydraulic fluid annually, or every 1500 tipping operations, whichever occurs first.

2-1 Dropside Dropside Loading 1) The dropside body is not designe d for carrying people or unsuitable/un safe materials. Ensure the vehicle tailboard and sideboards are se curely closed before loading. Lo ad the vehicle evenly, distributing the load across the body.
2-2 Dropside Swing the lever up unt il it contacts the body and the lock pin be comes visible. Lower the side board carefully. To close, raise the sideboard and push firmly against the body. Swing the lever down in to its recess until an audible click is he ard.
2-3 Dropside Cleaning Dirt or mud which remains dry on the body may become abrasive and can damage paint, seals, locks and hinges. Clean the following parts if they become contaminated with dirt: Sidebo ard and tailboa rd locking latches and hinges.

3-1 Double cab Double cab Introduction The double cab uses an addi tional rear bench seat to provide increased seating for up to six people.The rear loadspace area is separated from th e passenger compartment by a partition wall. Additional loadspace under th e rear seat provides increased stora ge in the load compartment.
3-2 Double cab Child restraint systems 3 The table shows permissible locati ons for installing a child rest raint system. Refer to Owner’s Ma nual for furthe r information.

4-1 Auxiliary heating systems Auxiliary heating systems Coolant heater The Webasto engine-indep endent, fuel-powered coolant heater, l ocated under the vehicle, provides rapid heating of the engine coolant to enable heating of the vehicle interio r without running the engi ne.
4-2 Auxiliary heating systems Manual control unit The heater control unit is located on the instrument panel. The heater unit can be switched on for immediate use (one-off mode) an d the timer function 3 (programmed mode) set using the four buttons on the control unit.
4-3 Auxiliary heating systems Press and hold the set button aga in and press the back or next button. Then release the set button. The he ating duration is disp layed and the flame symbol flashes. Change heating durati on using the back or next button.
4-4 Auxiliary heating systems If the heater does not start when switched on, switch it o ff and back on again. If it still does not start, seek the assistance of a workshop. Refer to the supplied instructions fo r the heater unit for furthe r information.
4-5 Auxiliary heating systems Switching heater off Press the heating button again to switch heating off: the light in the button and the heating symbol Y extinguishes. Programming departure times Press the progra m button. Preset memory location 1, 2 or 3 flashes.
4-6 Auxiliary heating systems Air vents Two adjustable air vents are located on the lower part o f the sidewall cover in the rear passenger compartment. Remote control unit 3 The heater can be started and stopped using the remote co ntrol unit. The remote control has a maximum range of 600 metres.
