VQT3P35 13 k T o prevent water leaking in to the camera, please observe the follo wing precautions bef ore using it. k Check that there is suff icient battery po wer and card memory remaining. k Do not open or close the battery cover or termi n a l co ver in places with sand and dust, or with wet hands.

VQT3P35 15 i If there is liquid on the surf ace, wipe it off with a soft dry cloth. i The integrity of the rubber seals decr eases after a bout 1 y ear. It is st rongly recommended that y ou have the seals re placed (subject to a fee) at least once a year at the store where the camer a was purchased or at nearby service center .

VQT3P35 17 k Causes of water leak i If the camer a is used in any of t he f ollowing conditions , a gap may appe ar between the ca mera body and the batt ery cover or terminal cov er , resulting in water seeping in and causing the camer a to malfunction.
