8 Remote Control Batteries Requires two R6 batteries. 1. T urn the transmitter face down. Press and slide off the battery cover . 2. Install the batteries as shown in the battery compartment. (Polarity + or – must match the markings in the compartment.

13 Basic Controls Stand-by (ON/OFF) button The Plasma Display must first be plugged into the wall outlet and turnded on at the power switch. (see page 14) Press this button to turn the Plasma Display On, from Standby mode. Press it again to turn the Plasma Display Off to Standby mode.

18 ASPECT Controls The Plasma Display will allow you to enjoy viewing the picture at its maximum size, including wide screen cinema format picture. 19 ASPECT Controls Mode 4 : 3 Zoom 16 : 9 Just Panasonic Auto Explanation 4:3 will display a 4:3 picture at its standard 4:3 size. Zoom mode magnifies the central section of the picture. 16:9 will display the picture at its maximum size but with sight elongation.

23 Surround Controls SURROUND Button The benefits of surround sound are enormous. Y ou can be completely enveloped in sound; just as if you were at a concert hall or cinema. The surround setting switches on and off each time the SURROUND button is pressed.

30 Setup for MUL TI DISPLA Y By lining up Plasma Displays in groups of 4 or 9 as illustrated below , an enlarged picture may be displayed across all screens. For this mode of operation, each plasma display has to be set up with a Display number to determine its location.
