6 INSTALLATION Loading the battery: One AAA 1.5V alkaline battery is u sed to p ower the unit. W hen the battery indicator shows em pty please replace the battery. Take the cap off the MP3 Player, then proce ed to take the b attery cover off. Ensure the correct polarity, put the batt ery inside and close the battery compartm ent.
7 DRIVER SOFTWARE Windows 98 Under Windows98 drivers have to be installed. Do not connect the unit to your computer before the installation of the driver is finished. Insert the provi ded CD into your CDROM d rive or get the d river from ou r web site.
8 Connecting to a PC The MP3 player is connected to a PC with the p rovided USB cable. You will see a mass storage device with rem ovable media sym bol in My Computer after the unit has been recognize d by the operat ing system .
9 MODES There are certain modes and menus we will refer to i n this manual, familiarizing ones self w ith these m enus and modes will make operating the ATMT Lite MP3 Player a breeze.
10 Stop Submenu This Submenu c an be e n tered by pressi ng the “ Mode ” button when paused whilst playing M P3 or recorded fil es, in either Music o r Voice mode.
11 BASIC OPERATION Switching On and Off Use the Play/Pause button to switch on. To switch off pr ess the Play/Pause button for mor e than 3 seconds. Playback From the Menu select the Music Mode option. Then press down on the Mode button. Then press the Play/Pause butt on to start play back of MP3 fil es.

14 Copying Files to AT MT Lite MP 3 Player Seen from the PC’s side the ATMT Lite MP3 Player is a normal mass s torage device. File transfer th erefore is possible in the common way in Windows Explorer. Important Do not disconnect the u nit while files are been copied.
15 SYSTEM SETTINGS Record time Set the time and date when recorded files are saved Backlight set the period of time (sec.) when Backlight stays on without any operation Language set different language.
16 Repeat (Playing Submenu) When playing music an d r ecorded files, different play modes can b e selected. (Such as Repeat, shuffle etc.) The first op tion in Play Submenu is Repeat. Select Repeat and you w ill be able to change the play mode. The player will play f iles according to the m od e selected.
17 Lyric Display The ATMT Lit e M P3 Player supports *. LRC lyric files and lyric s m ay be displayed sim u ltaneously whilst playi ng music. Save the lyric fi le with the sam e name as that of the c orrespondin g music file. Eg: Music file name: Andy-Water.
