14 Revolving S teps The revolving LCD screen is one of the outstanding features about this product. We’d like to suggest you to take the following steps for proper operation. A 1. 17 Installation S teps Follow the steps below to install the battery . S tep1: Pull the battery holder out from the remote control in the direction of the arrow . S tep 2: Load a new battery properly with the (+) side up. S tep3: Insert the battery holder back into the remote control.
18 z Always ensure that the DVD player , TV and any other electrical equipment to be connected with are switched off and unplugged from the power supply .
19 Connecting to External A V Source The player supports an A V signal input function. Use the audio/ video cable to connect the unit to an external A V signal source such as a DVD, VCR etc. After connecting, switch the DVD/A V IN to A V IN. NOTE: Noise may occur in speakers when ther e is an external audi o signal input while playing a DVD disc.
20 Using the AC Adapter The player is supplied with an AC adapter for po wering the unit and charging the battery . Note: T urn player's power off before unplug ging. Note: In the case of using the adapter, the LCD screen will be brighter than with the rechargeable battery.
21 About Rechargeable Ba ttery Pack Your portable DVD player comes with a lithium ion rechar geable battery that attaches to the rear of the DVD player. Char ge the battery fully before initial use. Charging time is normally about 5 hours. A fully charged battery delivers about 3 hours of use, but pla ying time varies from disc to disc.
22 Attaching the Battery Pack Refer to the following steps for attaching the Battery Pack: 1. Make sure the player is off and the AC or car adapter is disconnected. 2. Place the DVD player on a soft and smooth surface with the bo ttom of the unit facing up.
23 Detaching the Battery Pack If the DVD Player is not going to be used for long periods of time, the battery pack should first be fully charged and then detached. When t he DVD Player is turned OFF, the DVD Player is still consuming some power in STANDBY mode.

30 CD Playback When a CD disc is loaded, the player will play it automatically by the default sequence of the disc. Y ou can use , or number buttons to select a certain track to play .
