Vie wSta tion Us er’s G uid e 99 This section discusses setup and operation that is specific to the ViewStation 512 and MP models. The ViewStatio n 512 allo ws you to con nect up to f our ISDN lin es to cond uct video conferences at a maximum 512 kbps.
ViewStation 512/MP 100 ViewSt atio n User’ s Guide During a call, the ViewStation 5 12 and MP displays two circular call progress indicators per available ISDN line. Each indicator represents one channel of an ISDN line. In the illust ration below, the call is attemp ting to use all eight channels from four available ISDN lines.
ViewStation 512/MP 101 View Statio n User ’s Guide When yo u first connect the IMUX m odule to the ViewStation unit and av ailable ISDN lines, the red status li ght on top of the IMUX module will light.
ViewStation 512/MP 102 ViewSt atio n User’ s Guide Highlight and select the IMUX Information icon and press the SELECT button on the remo te to configu re your IMUX module. Highlight and select the Numbers icon to go to the ISDN Video Numbers screen.
ViewStation 512/MP 103 View Statio n User ’s Guide On the Advanced Dialing screen, you can define how each ISDN channel will be dialed. Normally, channels are dialed in parallel. The Dialing Speeds s creen allows you to specify the dialing speeds that will be available when you place a call.
