8 Multi-function O ven F unc tions Rapid Response (Classic Delux e only) The Rapid Response setting enables you to preheat the oven faster than normal . It uses the fan oven element with additional heat from one of the elements in the top of the ov en.
9 Operating the Ov ens F an Ovens T urn the oven knob to the desired t emperature (F ig. 2.16) . The oven indica tor light will glow until the ov en has reached the temperatur e selec ted.
10 The C lock Y ou can use the clock to turn the left-hand oven on and o . The clock must be set to the time of day bef ore the oven will work. Note on multi-function ovens: When using the timer functions, rst set the clock as required bef ore setting the oven temper ature and selecting the oven function.
11 T o Stop the Multifunction Oven at a Specific T ime of Day Y ou have set the r equired temperatur e and function mode for the Multifunction O ven and you w ould like the Multifunction Oven to automatically stop . T OP TIP Make a note of the current time so you do not f orget.
12 T o Start and Stop the Multifunc tion Oven The Multifunction Oven allows you to automa tically star t and stop by a combination of the length of the c ook ing time and the stop time. Giving y ou the exibilty to cook casseroles etc while you are out.

20 Glass Fr onted Door Panels The oven door fr ont panels can be taken o so that the glass panels can be cleaned. Move the c ooker forward to gain access to the sides (see the ‘Mo ving the Cooker’ sec tion under ‘Installation ’ ).
21 Cleaning T able Cleaners listed (T able 5.1) are available from supermarkets or electrical retailers as stated. F or enamelled sur faces use a cleaner that is approv ed for use on vitreous enamel. Regular cleaning is recommended. F or easier cleaning, wipe up any spillages immediately .
22 6. T roubleshooting Interference with and repairs to the hob MUST NO T be carried out by unqualied persons. Do not try to repair the hob as this ma y result in injury and damage to the hob . Please arrange for r epair by a suitably competent person.
23 The ov en light is not working The bulb has probably blown. Y ou can buy a replacement bulb (which is not c overed under the guarantee) fr om most elec trical stores . Ask for an Edison screw tting 15 W 230 V lamp , FOR OVENS (Fig . 6.1) . I t must be a special bulb, hea t resistant to 300 °C.
