6 Residual Heat Indicat or , H After use, a cooking zone will remain hot f or a while as heat dissipates. When a cooking zone is switched o the residual heat indicator symbol [ H ], will appear in the display . This shows that the cooking zone tempera ture is abov e 60 °C and may still cause burns.
7 Low T emperature Setting, L1 / L2 This function should only be used when cooking from cold . Each cooking area is equipped with 2 low temperatur e settings: • L1 will maintain a temperatur e of about 40 °C – ideal for gently melting butter or chocolat e.

9 Multi-function O v ens Multi-function ovens have an o ven fan and oven fan elemen t, as well as two extra heating elements . One element is in the top of the oven and the sec ond is under the oven base . T ake care to a void touching the top element and element deector when placing or removing items fr om the oven.
10 ArtNo.235-0003 - Classic DL MF knobs T emperature Function Base Heat This function uses the base element only . I t will crisp up your pizza or quiche base or nish o cooking the base of a pastry case on a lower shelf . It is also a gentle heat, good for slo w cook ing of casseroles in the middle of the oven or f or plate warming.
11 Main Oven Light Pr ess the button to turn the light on (F ig. 2.16) . If the oven light fails, turn o the pow er supply before chang ing the bulb. 12 The C lock Y ou can use the clock to turn the lef t-hand ov en on and o . The clock must be set to the time of day bef ore the ov en will work. Note: When using the timer functions, rst set the clock as required bef ore setting the oven temperatur e and selecting the oven function (multi-function ovens only) .
13 T o Stop the Multifunction Oven at a Specific T ime of Day Y ou have set the required temper ature and function mode for the Multifunction O ven and y ou would like the Multifunction Oven to automatically stop . T OP TIP Make a note of the current time so you do not f orget.
14 T o Start and Stop the Multifunction O v en The Multifunction Oven allows you to automa tically star t and stop by a combination of the length of the c ooking time and the stop time. Giving y ou the exibilty to cook casseroles etc while you are out.

18 Using Y our Induc tion Cook er If you have not used an induction cooker befor e please be aware of the f ollowing: • Make sure that the pans you ha ve or buy are suitable for use on the induction hob. S tainless steel, enamelled steel or cast iron is ideal .

20 5. Cleaning Y our C ook er Isolate the electricity supply before carrying out any major cleaning. Allo w the cooker to cool. NEVER use paint solvents , washing soda, caustic cleaners, biological powders , bleach, chlorine based bleach cleaners, coarse abr asives or salt.
21 Grills The grill pan and trivet should be washed in hot soap y water . Alternatively , the grill pan can be washed in a dishw asher . After grilling meats or any f oods that soil, leave to soak f or a few minutes immediat ely after use. Stubborn particles may be remov ed from the trivet using a n ylon brush.
22 Glass Fr onted Door Panels DO NO T use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the ov en door glass since they can scratch the surface, which ma y result in shattering of the glass. The oven door fr ont panels can be taken o so that the glass panels can be cleaned.
23 Cleaning T able Cleaners listed (T able 5-1) are available fr om supermarkets or electrical retailers as stated. F or enamelled sur faces use a cleaner that is approved f or use on vitreous enamel. Regular cleaning is recommended. F or easier cleaning, wipe up any spillages immediately .
24 6. T roubleshooting Interference with and repairs to the hob MUST NO T be carried out by unqualied persons. Do not try to repair the hob as this ma y result in injury and damage to the hob . Please arrange for repair by a suitably competent person.
25 Grill not cooking properly Are you using the pan and triv et supplied with the cooker? Is the pan being used on the runners, not the oor of the compartment? Is the grill tray pushed back fully to the ‘back stop’ position? The knobs get hot when I use the ov en or grill.
26 The Oven light is not w orking The bulb has probably burnt out. Y ou can buy a replacement bulb (which is not c overed under the guarantee) fr om a good electrical shop. Ask for a 15 W – 230 V lamp, FOR OVENS. It must be a special bulb, heat resistant to 300 °C (F ig.
