12 – English ASSEMBL Y Fitting the hand guar d and loop handle (325HD A55,325HE3) 1 Assemble the hand guard and loop handle b y screwing them together . T ake care to align the holes in both par ts. 2 Slide the loop handle and hand guard onto the shaft.
English – 13 FUEL HANDLING Fuel CA UTION! The machine is equipped with a two-strok e engine and must alwa ys been run using a mixture of petrol and two- stroke engine oil. It is impor tant to accurately measure the amount of oil to be mix ed to ensure that the correct mixture is obtained.
14 – English ST AR TING AND ST OPPING Chec k bef ore star ting • Inspect the working area. Remov e any objects that could be thrown out. • Check the cutting attachment. Nev er use blades that are dull, crac ked or damaged. • Check that the machine is in perf ect working order .
English – 15 ST AR TING AND ST OPPING Air purge: Press the air purge diaphragm repeatedly until fuel begins to fill the diaphragm. The diaphr agm need not be completely filled. Hold the body of the machine on the ground using y our left hand (CA UTION! Not with your f oot!).

English – 19 MAINTENANCE Gear housing There are three grease nipples on the gear housing. Use a grease gun to top up with grease . This should be carr ied out appro ximately e very 20 working hours. Use Husqvarna special grease, part no. 503 98 96-01.
