The safe use of this product requires an understanding of the information on the tool and in this operator’ s manual as wel l as a kn owl edg e of the pr oje ct yo u ar e at tem pti ng. Befo r e use of this pr oduct, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules.
9 ASSEMBL Y UNP ACKING This product r equir es assembly . Carefully r emove the product and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.
10 ASSEMBL Y Fig. 4 INST ALLING THE V ACUUM BAG See Figures 5 - 6. Remove the nozzle and upper blower tube from the blower . Unzip the vacuum bag and place the adaptor inside as shown. Align the raised slots on the bag adaptor with the raised locking tabs on the blower housing outlet; push the bag adaptor onto the housing.
11 V Acuum inleT Door Door T Ab INST ALLING THE V ACUUM TUBES See Figures 7 - 8. WARNING: Rotating impeller blades can cause sever e injury . Always stop the engine before opening the vacuum door or installing/changing tubes. Do not put hands or any other object into the vacuum tubes while they are installed on the unit.
12 FILLING THE T ANK WARNING: Gasoline is extremely flammable and explosive. A fir e or explosion from gasoline will burn you and others. Alwa ys sto p the engin e befor e f ill in g th e fuel tank . Never add fuel to a machine with a running or hot engine.
13 on/oFF SWiTch OPERA TION ST ARTING AND STOPPING See Figures 9 - 10. T o start a cold engine: DO NOT squeeze the throttle trigger until the engine starts and runs. Lay the blower/vacuum on a flat, bare surface. PRIME - Press the primer bulb 7 times.
14 OPERA TING THE BLOWER See Figures 11 - 12. WARNING: Never run the unit without the blower tubes installed or the vacuum door securely closed. Failure to heed this warning could result in serious personal injury . Start the blower . Refer to Starting and Stopping earlier in this manual.

16 MAINTENANCE CLEANING THE AIR FIL TER SCREEN See Figure 15 - 16. For proper performance and long life, keep air filter scr een clean. Remove the air filter cover by pushing down on the latch with your thumb while gently pulling on the cover . Brush the air filter screen lightly to clean.
17 TROUBLESHOOTING IF THESE SOLUTIONS DO NOT SOL VE THE PROBLEM, CONT ACT YOUR AUTHORIZED SERVICING DEALER. PROBLEM CAUSE REMEDY Engine fails to start. No fuel in tank. Spark plug shorted or fouled. Spark plug is broken. (cracked porcelain or electr odes br oken) Ignition lead wire shorted, br oken, or disconnected from spark plug.
