- 5 - Preparing Your Camera for Use Battery Installation Your camera requires two AA alkaline batteries, which must be inserted as follows: 1. Slide open the battery compartment at the bottom of the camera in the direction indicated by the arrow. 2. Insert the batteries in accordance with the polarity (+/-) shown on the inside of the cover.

This may cause y our installation to fail. Do not connect the cable to the computer until the entire installation proc ess has been completed.

- 14 - 5. This will automatically launch the Insta ll shield for the camera driver. Click “ Next ” to continue. 6. Once the program has finished installi ng you will have to restart your computer.
- 15 - Downloading Photos Use the “Kids Cam Show and Share Creativity Center” p rogram to import photos and video clips (AVI files) from your camera. 1. Plug one end of th e USB cable into the USB slot on y our camera. 2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB port on your computer.

On the next screen, choose where you want to pla ce your photos and video clips and click the “Finish” button to copy the photos to your computer.
