14 Upgrading the Pr oduct Updating the camera ’ s rm ware When you rst attach the camera unit to the camer a body , the version update function will start automatically if the rmware of the camera ’ s body need to be updated. In such case, upda te the rmware of the camer a ’ s body using the following proc edure.
15 2 T urn on the camera. • A conrmation message about updating the rmware appears . 3 Pr ess the Fn1/F n2 buttons to select [ Y es] and then press the MENU/ OK button. • The rmware ’ s update begins and the following messages appear on the picture display .

18 Mode P: Progr am Shift The diagram on the follo wing page gives estimates of the shift range f or various combinations of aperture values and shutter speeds. The actual values may vary depending on EV (exposure value). In these examples, the ash mode is set to [Flash O ], and the ISO setting is set to [ISO200].

26 [ISO Setting] Setting (Shooting Menu) • When [Auto] is selected and the ash is used, the sensitivity used will gain up to ISO800 equivalent. • When [Auto] is selected and the ash is not used, the minimum and maximum values for the ISO sensitivity will be 200 and 400, respectively , regardless of the pix el size (pixels).
27 [Enlrg Display] (Shooting Menu) If you move the target with the dir ection keys (+/-/Fn1/F n2) and press and hold down the MENU/OK button, the target position will be magnied , allowing you to check the f ocus. By pressing and holding down the MENU/ OK button again, you can return to the standar d view from the enlarged view .
